Si Lorraine, sa kanyang post sa Facebook, ay nagsabi na, "He (Duterte) goes to them and he touches them. Often, he singles someone out in the crowd who is real far from him and is squished and has no hope of ever being close to him—except the President himself. He would call to this person and signal for him to come to him," ayon sa kanya.

Hinimok din niya ang lahat ng mga tagasuporta ni Pangulong Duterte na 'hold on to each other' at panatilihin ang ating suporta hangga't mayroon tayong Pangulo na tulad niya na nangangasiwa sa ating bansa.

This is a sight I see everywhere the President goes. Arms stretching out to touch him and him stretching out his arms to touch as many as the PSG will allow him to. You know what? Scratch that--- because he breaches PSG security lines.

Over and over and over—just so he can be with them. He sees the eagerness, the hunger of the people he has sworn to serve and I see it in his face: kindness, compassion, sadness, eagerness. All in one go. Then he strides purposely towards them and the PSG scramble to try to contain him but he cannot be stopped. He goes to them and he touches them.

Often, he singles someone out in the crowd who is real far from him and is squished and has no hope of ever being close to him—except the President himself. He would call to this person and signal for him to come to him. Pangulo talaga to ng mga api, I swear. That is what makes him tick—seeing the abused and the downtrodden and him lifting this person up.

I know why he reaches out to them as they reach out to them. He has seen their sufferings. He knows so well the pain they go through as they leave all that is safe and familiar and beloved to them bec past governments have failed in building a country where even the most basic of their needs can be met.

And so they’ve risked life and limb, suffered indignities—and not a few of them, to the point of death—to fill in the horrific shortcomings of past administrations. And they have given their unqualified love and support to this man because they know how real he is to them. He doesn’t defend them because of anything he can get from them. Not the dollar remittances, not their votes.

All that don’t figure with him when he serves, defends, protects them. Our President has the soul of a fierce defender and I don’t think he will know any rest till he’s defended the most downtrodden of Filipinos. And our kababayan OFWs know this about him. He will go the ends of the world for them. And they know this. The kind of love and fierce defense he gives them cannot be faked. They’ve been on the receiving end of so much shit from past presidents that they know the real thing from the phoney baloneys that came before him.

So like the overwhelming majority of us who know an exceptional leader when we see one— and who can deduce the earthshaking implications of this to our country, we grab hold of this man like a drowning man grabs hold of a raft. And we are not letting him go. A President such as this comes but once in a lifetime..

And BY GOD, we hang on to him for dear life. Which explains the fools who can’t see a good thing when it’s infront of them and continue to flounder in the hellish raging waters of their imagination. Ah well. Such is life.

For us who see things clearly, we hold on to each other and we keep the faith and work with this once-in-a-lifetime Pangulo. I love this photo so much. It is the quintessential Duterte presidency photo. Arms stretching out to touching him and him doing all he can to reach out to them as well.

Two ways. I’ll tell you who it is you must never fool with your phoniness: the poor, those who’ve had it hard in life and children. (Dogs too). They know. - LORRAINE BADUY.

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Lopez, “Frankly we don't know (why he changed his mind) but the more important thing is he is here and he is [attending] all these meetings.”

Sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte sa Filipino Community noong Biyernes na,"We can come here, we can establish schools and if you want a university. And we are good at that. We will try to help you. We need to develop and develop well Papua New Guinea. We are willing to help," ayon sa Pangulo.

"We will send vocational skills training (through) TESDA (Technical and Education Skills Authority). Governor, we are willing to help your livelihood projects here. Maybe the next generation would be at least receptive of, you know, improvement,” aniya.

"But I commit to you that... I have heard that most of our countrymen are treated well and respected... But we are ready to build schools, ask teachers to come here and help in the education of your young people," dagdag pa ng Chief Executive.
